The Safety Division Pty Ltd was established in May 2020 amidst the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Minolyn Naidoo, Founder and Sales & Marketing Director, leveraged over a decade of specialized expertise in the safety industry to take swift action.
Starting by assisting local doctors, medical surgeries, clinics, and hospitals, as well as longstanding industrial customers, Minolyn worked tirelessly to source and supply critical mandatory PPE needed to protect personnel on duty every single day.
During this period, South Africa was under total lockdown—borders were closed, international imports were severely restricted, and vital personal protective equipment was virtually impossible to source at honest pricing. Minolyn tapped into an extensive network of accredited local South African manufacturers and premier international partners to secure life-saving equipment at fair, cost-effective rates.
At The Safety Division we are passionate about safety. We aim to educate our customers on purchasing and utilizing compliant PPE that meets and exceeds statutory standards at work, home, or training.
